Go fishing

Public fishing piers are located at several spots along the Harborwalk. The most common catch is striped bass; but flounder, sea bass, and shellfish can also be caught in shallow water in Boston Harbor.

    Surfcasting may be done from the gravel beach on the western shore, along the perimeter of the island. Anglers also may use a designated fishing area.
