South Boston

Eastport Park

Across from Commonwealth Pier is Eastport Park. The Park is an open-air sculpture garden with over an acre of winding paths and lush greenery and a collection of pieces by such notable contemporary artists as Shingu, Judy Kensley McKie, and David Phillips. There is a variety of restaurants and convenience stores near the World Trade Center and within the Seaport Hotel. The publicly accessible gardens next to the Seaport Hotel feature the "Leviathan" sculpture suggestive of a fanciful sea creature by sculptor Wendy Ross. The East Office Building adjacent to Eastport Park has an interior sitting area for the public.
