"Aqueous Humour" by Ellen Driscoll represents the working port - people, machinery, and sea life. The sculpture is inspired by the Greek's ancient art of memory wheels where the granite ring at the base identifies key stars and constellations used in navigation.
As an interpretive element in the park, the tidal lights embedded in the main pathway change color in response to the actual movements of the tides in the harbor. The designer was MB Flanders Associates in collaboration with the Halvorson Design Group.
